My 2021 Living Room Fall Decor

Welcome! So happy to see you today.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not but Emily and I have been sort of teasing you with little sneak peeks of small areas in our home for a few weeks now. Just a little preview of the rooms to come and the whole home tour we plan to share.

First I shared a little makeover I gave some tiny wooden buildings all decked out for harvest.

Next came a very simple early fall tablescape. If you look closely you might be able to see parts of my dining room in the photos but that’s about it.

I started to REALLY get excited when I shared how I styled these new open shelves for fall. I’ve been wanting to style them for fall and winter ever since I first built them!

I even shared how I made this simple wooden sign out of some leftover wood from a project I haven’t shared yet!

Then we moved on to my hutch and I shared how I made Aurora all pretty for fall without buying a single new item or spending a dime!

It’s almost shocking that it took me so long to get around to sharing my mantel this year since it’s always one of the first things I style for each new season and one of the things I change the most frequently. I just love playing around with mantel decor.

I shared how I made over some pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns from the traditional oranges they were when I got them, to my neutral fall palette.

My turkey candle holder got a makeover too and now Mr Tom Turkey is looking very dapper for his special day!

Finally we got to my open cabinet in my kitchen and the large Jack O’Lantern family that keeps stopping by….

Last but not least we shared our front porches!

I can’t believe I haven’t even shared my French buffet in its full fall glory, my bookcase that still resides in my dining room and not a thing from my bedroom yet.

Oh! I forgot the bathrooms too! At this rate it will be next fall before we get around to a home tour so I think we will just skip ahead and I’ll start sharing full rooms with you.

Starting with my living room.

Welcome to my living room!

You’ve already seen my mantel and everything else I keep pretty simple.

I have to keep everything within “tail height” quite unbreakable and non-precious since my large dog wags so vigorously that anything within that range is fair game!

My set of mustard colored vintage chairs are the only real pop of color in the space and they’re the perfect addition for this time of year especially.

Still amazed at how much of a difference my SureFit Slipcover changed the entire look of not only my sofa but my entire living room!

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out what I’ve been up to. Don’t go far! I think another full room tour will be just around the corner!
