Bushels Of Fun

A little while ago Emily (Le Cultivateur) and I gave y’all some ideas on how you could add some fall touches to your home to slowly transition from summer decor. In one of her photos, Emily had this darling little acorn wreath hanging by a ribbon from a picture frame. It instantly grabbed my attention and I knew I was going to have to make something like that.

Emily’s Acorn Wreath

I wasn’t sure what I should use as my wreath base at first and had nothing on hand that was as small as I originally would have liked. In the end I got a grapevine wreath from Dollar Tree.

I purposely chose a wreath that was thin and a little wild looking. I had these faux acorns from last year.

I propped up the wreath and started gluing on my acorns in various directions. You’ll find I’m pretty low maintenance most of the time and typically use what I have on hand. Like my Brita pitcher to prop up my wreath! 😀

Because of the larger size of my wreath I decided I would only put acorns around part of it, rather than all the way around.

Voila!

I used a piece of ivory lace to tie a droopy bow around the top of my wreath and glued another piece of lace to the top of the wreath to use as a hanger.

Until next time…

Well as you can see, you are the inspiration behind it and I had no idea you were sharing the acorn wreath or that you had even made it when I saw it in your pics 🤣😂🤣
