The other day I promised to share another spot in my house very soon where I have stripped away the Christmas decor and left just a very neutral, winter vibe.
Well today is the day!
When I actually started to add just a few little things back into the hutch after having removed anything that was overtly Christmas (like dishes full of ball ornaments etc) I think it might have been the fact that I had some of my windows open to air the house out but I found a little bit of spring creeping in.
Maybe I just have cabin fever since the weather is so dreary, rainy, windy and miserable where I live this time of year. Like wishful thinking, perhaps.
I left some of the winter details like pinecones and some bottle brush and evergreen trees but I added touches of spring with some flowers and moss balls.
I mean, Valentine’s is just around the corner, after all so a girl needs to add some pink and romantic touches once in a while.
Something about the copper, blush pink rose and juniper stem just grabs my eye. What a stunning combination!
Let’s face it, you don’t need to add much to an ironstone and china collection to make it look good. It can do that all by itself!
I removed the trees from the baskets on the top of my hutch and added some faux greenery and flowers insteadโฆ..
Now I have a few more weeks before I need to think about adding overtly spring things around my home.
At least I hope its only a few more weeks and by a few I mean like 6! haha
Pin it for later…
Until next time,
