I can’t believe it’s October already and here I am sharing my fall mantel for the first time! Normally it’s one of the first things I share when I change seasons but this year I’ve been so busy that I must admit I’m still not 100% done my fall decor. Oh well. One thing at a time!
I know you aren’t shocked to see vintage books OR pink pumpkins on my mantel. Two of my very favorite things!
If a few vintage books are good, a lot of vintage books are better, right?
Keeping things simple (yes, this is what I call simple) this year with soft colors and not as much going on. I decided to let the empty frames speak for themselves.
I’ve also decided to keep the tile plain white for nowโฆ..just for a cleaner, more streamlined look. I’ll probably stencil it again some time in the future when I get bored of this.
This isn’t on my mantel exactly but I’m loving dark green this year too as an added accent color. Especially dark green pumpkinsโฆ..like these pillows from Walmart!
More throw pillows and cozy blankets than usual, lots of texture and some warmer colors like the mustard I’m sprinkling around – it all adds up to a cozy fall home.
