…as long as I’m living my favorite color you’ll be!
Okay so maybe that’s not the way it’s supposed to go but I like my version.
I also like this time of year when everywhere you look love is in the air. Or at least the colors and symbols of love anyways.
I like the soft romantic touches and the frills and the flowers…
And most of all I love blush pink!
And I love the idea of whispering sweet nothings and sipping a comforting drink overlooking something beautiful with someone special…
And I love the idea of past love…..
…on this and every day of the year.
To me it’s the first sign of spring.
Of new life.
Of hope.
Of the hope of love and a new start each year.
I need that more this year than any other.
I’m already envisioning the rosebushes I’ll plant this year and the amazing bouquets I will pick when my flower garden is in full bloom.
These first touches of spring and hope all around my home help me get through the remaining dark and gloomy days of winter until the sun is back again.
It truly makes a difference.
So it’s time.
Time to put away the last bits and pieces of your winter decor.
Time to sweep away the cobwebs that have appeared.
Time to open up those windows as wide as the current temperature allows.
Time to start fresh and “forget” all that has transpired in the past year and allow ourselves to have hope again.
A look back…
It does the same thing for me every year.
Which is why I look forward to it so much.
And just like with every other season I like to add touches to every space.
Oh how things have changed over the past few years.
But one thing remains the same…
It’s good to be home.
