French Vintage Friday: Vintage Style Appliances

It’s been a minute since I published something for French Vintage Friday. I’ve been trying to get myself more organized this year and more on top of things and, to be honest, sometimes it seems like I’m less organized than before.

I’ve missed y’all though….

This week I wanted to share something that LOOKS vintage even though it isn’t truly vintage.

I like things like that too.

You see there are some necessities of life that just have to be in your home but a modern looking piece might really stand out with your design style. That’s where I like to try and find pieces that have been made to look vintage but with all the modern convenience of a current design.

For example, y’all remember my vintage style radio, right? Rather than having a modern looking radio sitting around surrounded with vintage pieces, I chose a vintage inspired radio so now it looks like part of my decor but yet is perfectly operational.

Well recently I got another piece I’ve been wanting to get for a long time – a toaster oven.

I’ve missed having one and have been looking around for one for some time now but just like with the radio, since it’s something that is out on display all the time, I wanted it to fit in and look natural.

I don’t have the cabinetry to hide my appliances, nice as that would be.

I don’t have the time to be putting appliances away after each use and hauling them back out again a day later. It’s fine with something you rarely use but items that you use almost daily – not an option.

Here is my solution.

I’m in love with this piece! It has all the modern features of any toaster over – toasting capabilities, oven capabilities and a convection oven feature as well.

Even the style of the logo on this piece takes me back about 70 years.

It comes in several colors but the best part about it?

It fits in perfectly in my vintage style kitchen, surrounded by a whole bunch of truly vintage pieces.

The perfect solution!

See you soon, my friends…

They’re the best! All the functionality but don’t detract from the decor.
