I have a thing for shoes in case you couldn’t tell by my blog name and logo! I’ve always noticed shoes, even as a child. If you were talking about someone I didn’t know you had better be able to tell me what shoes they were wearing in order for me to remember them!
I was always playing with my mom’s shoes and then eventually, before I had kids, I had quite the collection. You know, back when I could afford to spend money on myself.
So basically this sign was a match made in heaven. Combining something French with something I am obsessed with – shoes!
Right now it’s found a home in my Powder Room.
I think it pairs well with the French mirror I stenciled.
