French Vintage Friday: Beauty In Bloom

Happy Friday!

It’s been a week, hasn’t it? I’ve worked on so many projects, completed a few and now it’s time to sit back, sip on a fresh cup of coffee and have a little chat with you.

I’m so glad.

I wanted to show you this old brass bud vase I found a while ago. I didn’t show it to you before because I had nothing blooming in my garden to put in it and really show it off.

But now….

Now I peonies!

And I have the cutest little blush pink and brilliant coral roses!

But do you know the best part about this little bud vase?

It will work perfectly for the little dandelions and random “weeds” that my kids bring me to show me how much they love me!

Now I don’t have to search high and low for something small enough to hold that tiny little gift they bring….

And it makes every flower, no matter how meagre, look like it is fit for a queen!

I absolutely love this bud vase!!! It is so cute! And, yay, your peonies and roses are starting to bloom!! Nothing in my garden has bloomed yet. I’m so jealous!! I love flower season and can’t wait to go out in my yard and cut fresh blooms!

Yes that peony is the first one I planted in memory of my sister and it always blooms like crazy in May which is the month my sister died. It warms my heart.
