Or moss.
Moss is greener too on someone else’s table.
Flowers are prettier on someone else’s table – especially when they make an appearance!
Do you get frustrated when you have something all planned out in your mind and then you can’t find the supplies you need so you have to implement plan B?
I know I do.
I had the most adorable little centerpiece all designed down to the last speck of moss – at least in my head. The problem is, the star of the show were 3 little potted Narcissus plants.
You know, the ones that were all over the place in every store I went two days ago and which prompted me to envision said centerpiece!
Those same ones that literally were nowhere to be found in any store I went to this morning.
So instead I did what I always do. I threw a tiny little tantrum inside my head and I sighed…
And then I started digging out all sorts of things that were possibilities that I could put on my table that made me feel like spring.
And I gave this little guy a cheerful snack and I started putting things here and there and removing what didn’t look right and trying again.
Before I knew it I had moss all over the table and the floor and myself and my centerpiece was nowhere near what I imagined in my head.
But it has so many special little things in it that make me want to run outside and dig in my flower gardens and make me want to snack on a crunchy carrot.
And most importantly it makes me smile and that’s a success in my book!
