The 12 DIY’s Of Christmas – “Vintage” Art

Want some nearly instant “vintage” art to go with your seasonal winter decor this year?

I thought so! In fact that’s why I’m here. I have a trick to show you that will make it super quick, almost free and nearly effortless.

So break out all those frames that you bought for a future project at your local thrift store or garage sales. This is one I picked up a long time ago for $3. You can do the same thing with large frames too.

I did use this several times with it just as it was in black but decided I wanted a little more bling for Christmas.

See? Proofโ€ฆ..

For this look I broke out my trusty Rub ‘n’ Buff in Gold Leaf (I get mine at Hobby Lobby but it’s available on Amazon too) which is my favorite gold color. The color called Antique Gold has a little too much copper in it for my tasteโ€ฆ.

I popped a vintage style print into the frame (this is from a book of vintage style prints I bought on Amazon years ago but there are so many gorgeous free printables online now too) and 5 minutes later I was ready to style it.

I love that I can use this over and over each season by just putting a different print into it and it creates a whole new look.

It doesn’t get any simpler than that!

Until next time,
