I know this post is a little on the late side since I would HOPE that most of you have the gifts you intend to give your mothers already but for those procrastinatorsโฆ..
Emily and I thought we’d share some ideas just in case you needed a few for those mom’s in your life. Or maybe, like me, you need to get yourself a little something special for that dayโฆ.
All of the items I have linked in this post are either something I own and love or something that is on my wish list.
Vornado Personal Vintage Style Fan
With summer coming on it’s always nice to have some little fans to tuck here and there just in case the air conditioning isn’t quite doing the job! What’s better than a fan that can be sitting out and look perfectly at home with all your vintage decor? Yes, I’m talking about myself here. I firmly believe that for those appliances and pieces of modern convenience that we really want to have, you can still get the vintage look you love so its cute too! All the kitchen appliances I have that sit out (think toaster, microwave, toaster oven, kettle) are a vintage inspired item so they look perfectly at home surrounded by all the truly vintage things I style my home with.
One of the best ways to relax me when I’m stressed, in pain, tired, grumpy or all of the above is with a foot massage. The problem is, I don’t have anyone around who is willing to ever do that for me so I’m thinking this heated foot massager is a must have! I have full intentions of treating myself to one of these babies in very short order!
Farmer’s Almanac Flower Gardener’s Handbook
This book looks incredible when it comes to really helpful information about all sorts of plants, their care, they basic needs, where and when to plant etc. The Farmer’s Almanac has always been an amazing source of valuable farming and gardening information and this is no exception. I still use some of the things my grandpa taught me about forecasting the weather, when to plant certain things, where to plant etc.
Cottage Gardens by Claire Masset
There is just something about the effortless look of a cottage garden that speaks to my soul. I’ve always dreamed of creating one but haven’t quite gotten there yet. This book shares photos of award winning British cottage gardens and gives valuable information on how to create your own cottage garden. A must-have coffee table book.
1 Gallon Cold Brew Pitcher and Tea Infuser
If you are a coffee and sweet tea obsessed momma like I am, this beast is a great idea! You could even pair it with a bag of her favorite coffee blend or maybe some tea leaves so she can brew up a batch as soon as she opens it. This looks so cute, can keep your iced coffee and sweet tea cold in the fridge and brew it for you too. I am definitely going to need one of these for all those front porch sittin’ days.
I know the popular smart watch is the Apple Watch and I’d love to have one just like everyone else but they just aren’t within my budget. At least not when it comes to what I will spend on myself. I did however really want to have a device for tracking my workouts and why not combine that with a watch so you don’t have to have anything else in your pocket or hanging off your body. I finally got this Cubitt smart watch for myself almost a year ago and I love it. It doesn’t pair up quite perfectly with my iPhone but it does sync some things just fine and it has an app you can set up that tracks all sorts of things and syncs with the watch. Overall I’m very please with it. The silicone watch band is very soft and flexible and of course the blush pink color (it comes in many other colors too) is perfect for me! I’d recommend this in a heartbeat – get it? It tracks your heart rate tooโฆ..You can even choose and upload a variety of different screen appearances to customize it to your liking.
Facial Skin Care Set, Multiple Colors
Summer is a time when we like to be out in the sunshine and fresh air and not layer on quite as much makeup so its important to have good skin. I don’t take the time to pamper myself as much as I should (the story of most mom’s) but I do it a lot more often in the summertime. This skin care kit is a great option for this time of year.
And when you have your skin looking all fresh and dewy from the skin care kit, you can apply just a little it of beautiful makeup from a kit like this. It has a smattering of all the most important things for a basic makeup application and I like the colors they offer in it.
9 Piece Garden Tool Set With Carrying Bag
Maybe you’re like me and you’re always mis-placing your gardening tools (I only have the most basic ones to begin with) and then you waste all sorts of time looking for them? I like this set because it not only comes with a great selection of tools for doing your lawn and garden care but it also has a handy little carrying bag to store it all in. That way you don’t waste all your time looking for your tools or walking back and forth for the tools you didn’t grab from the garage. I only wish this came in cuter colorsโฆ..it contains some tools that aren’t always easy to find though, like the dandelion puller so I guess its worth dealing with less than ideal colors! lol
I meanโฆโฆhow can you go wrong with a cute and comfy T like this? It comes in a selection of different colors and sizes and it’s completely true, you know.
