The Most Beautiful Platter I’ve Ever Seen…

I never win anything. It’s just not what happens. I can enter into as many contests or draws or any of those sorts of things and I just don’t ever win them.

It’s fine….I’m so used to it I don’t even think about it anymore so you can imagine my surprise when I recently entered a giveaway between my dear friend Emily and Vagabond House in which a gorgeous platter was the prize, and was informed I had won it! Honestly I had only entered it to support my friend. I had seen a photo of the platter and it was so beautiful but when the very large box arrived a couple days later and I opened it….

…I couldn’t believe it! It’s a conversation piece to be sure.

I immediately fell in love with it and couldn’t wait to use it.

Of course that gave Emily and I the idea to both create a tablescape using these lovely platters.

Nobody sets a table like Emily but I sure have fun creating pretty tables….

I have long admired the beautiful pieces Vagabond House has and dreamed of owning some so I’m still pinching myself that I actually do!

I know I’m never going to run out of ways to use this platter and most likely if you were to come over to my house for a meal at some point, you’d see this platter front and center!
