French Vintage Friday – The Early Bird Catches The Worm

Happy Friday!

What a week it’s been. I’ve been working on a project that is long overdue and is something I have been dreaming of doing for years now.

Or at least dreaming of having DONE. I never actually dreamed about the process itself because….well that has been more of a nightmare!

Don’t go far because I’ll share this project with you very, very soon. I can’t wait. Just a couple fun finishing touches and I can take the finished pictures.

That being said I’m sore.

I’m tired.

I don’t have the strength left in me to hobble to my bed so I’m just gonna sit here and talk to you and look out my window at my lovely new hummingbird feeder!

This is my view.

Oh you want to see that feeder a little closer?

Good.

Me too!

I’m absolutely in love with this vintage style hummingbird feeder. I loved it the moment I first saw it. Although I haven’t seen the first hummingbird of the season YET, I know I could see him/her any day now and I want to be ready!

This feeder comes in clear glass, green glass (the one I have) or red glass. I’ve never been a fan of the standard bright red plastic hummingbird feeders but I just love feeding the birds and watching them out my window so I just made do with one.

Until now!

As you know by now there is nothing I love better than French and vintage style but sometimes I have to make a compromise and get something that isn’t truly vintage or French but LOOKS like it.

I’m perfectly okay with that.

Especially my new hummingbird feeder.

Never mind me….if you need me I’ll be over here rocking on my front porch admiring this little beauty.

Better yet, why don’t you come join me?

There are 2 rocking chairs, after all.

Right there with you. Vintage when you can, vintage style when you can’t! It’s even cuter in real life than it is in the pics. I put a link at the bottom of the post to make it really easy if you want to buy one.
