French Vintage Friday: Pink Roses

Blush pink is my favorite color and has been for quite a few years now. It’s so soft and romantic and feminine and I haven’t found a season yet that I can’t add some blush pink to and have it look so elegant. My love of blush pink extends to my favorite flowers too. The palest pink peonies, pale pink dahlias, soft pink roses, pink ranunculusโ€ฆ..you get the picture.

I’ve had bits of pink in nearly every room of my house at some point or other…

I’ve painted velvet poinsettias pink rather than their traditional red.

I’ve discovered blush pink roses and candles cannot be topped when it comes to setting a romantic mood.

I’m much more likely to add MORE touches of pink than usual to set the scene for Valentine’s than I ever am to use red or cupids or hearts. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it’s just not me.

Each year more pink pumpkins have been popping up for fall.

My powder room is the palest pink and whiteโ€ฆ.

But specifically it’s pale pink roses you will find more than anything else around my home. You might almost call it an obsessionโ€ฆ.

As you can see, they look perfect everywhere.

Until next time,

Its so soft and elegant with so many other combinations. I never seem to get tired of it so long as it’s the right shade.
