French Vintage Friday – All Things Fall In My Coffee Nook

I’ve had my fall decor about finished for some time now. I say “about” because for some reason I seem to be a bit short on fall decor this year so the tops of my kitchen cabinets are not finished.

It’s the weirdest thing! Like socks that go missing in the wash, never to be found again.

I had everything all styled for fall last year, packed it all away neatly when I took it down and this year when I got it all out again either someone stole some things when I wasn’t looking or my house stretched between last fall and this fall.

I can’t put my finger on anything that’s missing but I don’t have enough things to go around. It’s a terrible problem to have. It means I have to go find and make some more fall decor which is a terrible burden.

Luckily I had enough things to style my coffee nook for fall which is what I wanted to share with you today.

It’s hard to imagine that I had just finished this little nook prior to decorating for fall last year. I have so much fun playing around with these shelves and stacking lovely vintage things on them. Since it’s pretty much a part of my kitchen I can get away with putting more of my collected dishes and kitchen items on these shelves.

Like these, for an example.

Amber glass that normally gets hidden away in a kitchen cabinet, finds it way out on display at this time of year. It seems like the perfect warm pop of color!

Dishes like this are ones I use on a regular basis but they also look so pretty stacked on my open shelves. A few faux fruits and veggies add a touch of color and a hint of fall.

In case you were worried that I had forgotten about pumpkins – don’t be alarmed. I didn’t!

I didn’t forget my love affair with blush pink either. I just know you were worried about that too!

A crusty old lantern pairs perfectly with these vintage books, don’t you think?

I almost painted my cinderella pumpkin blush pink this yearโ€ฆ..I still might!

This is still one of my favorite little spots in my home and one of my favorite transformations too!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Until next time,

Thank you so much! I have to admit it’s a lot of fun to change up the shelves for every season and occasion.
