F-A-L-L Into Fall

Are you a southern girl? You don’t have to be born in the south to be a southern girl, you know.

You think I’m crazy, right?

Well one telltale sign is if you like to monogram everything.

See, I wasn’t born in the south but trust me – I’m a southern girl!

Perhaps I was switched at birth or something – I don’t know. All I know is, everything I ever hear as far as the “you know you are a — if” points to the fact that I am.

But back to pumpkins.

I love those big old pumpkins for the front porch with the giant monogram on them. Aren’t those darling?

I think I might have to do one of those for my front porch this year.

Meanwhile I’ll just be over here drinking sweet tea and putting letters on things.

Let me show you how….

I decided I’d leave well enough alone with these gold glitter pumpkins and not paint them or anything but I couldn’t entirely leave well enough alone.

I used a stencil with a very fancy script to make a basic outline of the letters I wanted.

Then it was just a matter of taking my black Sharpie and filling them in how I wanted them to look.

Easy as pie. Pumpkin pie.

Obviously these are very small pumpkins but if you used really large ones you could put an entire word on one pumpkin or even a short saying.

So easy and so much fun.

Until next time…
