Everywhere I look right now it’s all about the red and the hearts and the cupids. I don’t like red and I don’t like cupids and I only like hearts if they aren’t red and glittery!
I have a different take on romantic decor for valentines…I like to think of it as hinting at romance.
Anything that feels romantic, decadent, luxurious.
For me it’s all about the details. The sparkle in the faux crystal drawer pull, the shine of the gold on the embellishments, the reflection of the mirrored finish.
That says luxury and romance.
Add in all the trimmings and of course a splash of blush pink and you can’t help but feel the romance.
At least in your home. I can’t guarantee any of this will assure you of a wonderful date for Valentine’s Day itself butโฆ.
I can make do with a box of chocolates I bought myself, a nice romantic movie I watch by myself and maybe something extra special to drinkโฆ..so long as I have some blush pink and sparkle nearby!
Until next time,

This is so beautiful!!! I completely agree, Valentine’s Day decor is so much more beautiful when it is soft and subtle — I am not into sparkly red hearts either. You have created such a lovely spot with such a beautiful, subtle romantic vibe, perfect for Valentine’s Day! I love it!!
Awwwww you’re so sweet. Thank you! I’m glad you like it.
