The Essence Of Spring On My Mantel

Spring has arrived at my house. Not outside unfortunately – it’s still all brown and dead and empty looking outside but INSIDE is a different story.

It all started with the cutest fern garland and it went from there.

The moment the tulips came out, up popped this little bunny friend of mine. It’s a favorite that is the first to come out in the spring and the last to be tucked away in the summer. It was hand painted by a dear friend of mine.

The little heart garland was inspired by Emily’s gold star garland that she shared with us before Christmas…

It might be all brown and dripping and ugly outside but it sure isn’t like that inside…..I will just try not to look out my windows.

I mean, how can you NOT get inspired by this lacy fern?

I think I might need some little faux mushrooms or something to go with it. It’s giving me all the spring feels!

Until next time,

  1. Very pretty and calming mantel. If you don’t mind me asking? Where did you find the wall hanging by rope with the pitcher and two birds? That You.

I got that at Hobby Lobby fairly well into the fall last year. It was of course being sold off at 90% off or some such thing because it wasn’t the current season so I think I got it for under $5!!! It was an amazing deal!
