Seasonal Saturdays – Autumn 2022 Home Tour

Welcome to my home. I’m so glad you stopped by.

Today Emily and I are sharing a mini home tour with y’all showing our Fall 2022 decor. I say “mini” because we’re not including every room of the house. If you were to stop by my home in person, this is what you would see throughout the main floor of my home. Well, except the laundry room. I didn’t think you really wanted to see my laundry room all that badly!

Fall 2022 began with a new front door paint color. It’s a Farrow and Ball color called – wait for it – Dead Salmon.

That’s not a joke. How can such a pretty color have such an awful name?

I kept the dining room pretty simple this year letting the hutch do most of the talking.

My tablescape in these photos was literally candles and branches of leaves from my maple tree.

The addition of fall leaves, some blush pink dahlias and a few pumpkins are all that I added to Aurora this fall. There are some more dishes in her than last fall and she’s doing her best to show those off to their full potential. I like to add things like a few copper pieces here and there to give even ordinary dishes, a warm fall feel.

Y’all know by now that the chippy little cabinet in the corner of my dining room is one of my favorites….

It seems to look cozy no matter how I style it but this fall a wild array of pumpkins, a tiny alabaster lamp and framed pumpkin print are about all it needed.

My living room didn’t get as many pumpkins this year as normal. I was feeling warm textures, lots of throw blankets to cozy up in, some extra pillows and the addition of more pops of mustard.

Some dried grasses and hydrangeas from my yard were the perfect finishing touch.

Of course candles always make everything feel cozy…..

Finally painting the last wall in my living room was a task that needed to be completed for a very long time and I couldn’t be happier that it’s done. I’m loving the new feel that the Benjamin Moore “Classic Gray” color is providing here.

Old books and a few blush pumpkins kept the mantel simple too!

My powder room here on the main floor might be tiny but it packs a punch!

Last stop on this tour is my kitchen…..I spend so much of my time here whether I’m cooking and baking, canning, doing dishes, serving the kids a snack at the counter, helping the kids with homework or working on something myself – this counter at the kitchen seems to get a lot of traffic. I even work on a lot of my crafts here.

My kitchen is proof that you can have a white kitchen that still feels warm, cozy and inviting. All you need is some wood tones to warm it up. I also add in things like baskets above the cabinets and of course this time of year I like to have some copper touches here and there.

Pretty sure this is the only orange pumpkin you will find anywhere around my home!

Let’s not forget my little coffee nook. It’s sort of part of my kitchen but not part of the actual footprint of my kitchen…..it’s hard to show it’s location…..

Can we just talk about these little pearl fairy lights? I’m obsessed!

Now that I’ve shown you around, let’s get comfy and I’ll make some fresh pumpkin spice coffee while we talk….

Pin it for later…
