I love spring.
The minute there is a hint of spring in the air I can barely contain the need to be out messing around in my yard and digging in the soil. I think the plants should instantly come to life and start blooming and its really hard for me to be patient. I think that’s partly why my spring decor, in spite of my love of spring, feels a little lacking.
And that’s maybe why I struggle with envying all the other homes that I look at for inspiration in the spring. I’m happy with my fall and winter feels in my home but that’s the time of year when its too ugly outside a lot of the time to be doing anything but nesting.
Time to up my game.
That said, I’m showing you a few little spring vignettes I have around my home and I’m also going to share a few things I find inspiring for spring.
Until my lavender starts blooming, I have to settle for the faux kind but hey – one way or another lavender gives me all the feels.
This particular piece of art has been one of my favorites since I first saw it. I don’t think it can only be displayed in the spring but it sure looks perfect then.
This bunny candy mold had my heart from the first moment I saw it.
It doesn’t matter what the season is, old books are always a must.
The simple bunny artwork and touches of fresh greenery is a look I love for spring. Its just so fresh after a long, dark winter.
I love the look of this spring wreath. So different than the traditional wreaths with the gorgeous oval wooden frame as the base. I am definitely going to be making on like this.
It’s no secret that Emily’s style and home inspire me constantly and that’s especially true of her amazing spring decor. If I was to choose one style that I would like to emulate the most in my spring decor it would be hers, hands down.
I love the simplicity of this mantel decor. Just a little greenery and some potsโฆ..I’ve always liked decor to hint at the occasion or season but not have to spell it out. Although I like bunnies and nests and things I don’t think they have to be absolutely everywhere.
I just love flowering branches in the spring.
Until next time,
Emily’s Inspiration
