While my flower gardens are aware of the changing season, the weather hasn’t gotten the memo yet. It’s still scalding hot during the day and stays warm and balmy at night too. Each morning I stick my nose out the door when I put the dogs out and breathe deeply to see if there is a different smell in the air and different feel to it.
So far nothing but I know one morning very soon it will happen.
In the meantime I am just adjusting my decor in my home to look a bit more late summerโฆ..one day soon the pumpkins will show up on every surface but not yetโฆ.
I always have a lot of fun styling these open shelves in my coffee nookโฆ…
Being that it’s part of the kitchen really, there is no end of fun things to put on the shelves.
Although there are no pumpkins showing up in my house yet, you had better believe I’m taking FULL advantage of the pumpkin flavored things that are becoming availableโฆ..
I have full intentions of making myself a lovely cup of pumpkin spice coffee as soon as I finish showing you this nook!
I’m not quite sure what I did before I turned this into my coffee nook and installed these open shelves! I probably just re-styled my mantel twice as oftenโฆ..
