The 12 DIY’s Of Christmas Tablescape

Today Emily and I are going to share a simple Christmas tablescape with you….being that Christmas is only 2 days away and all! To make things even more interesting we aren’t using just anything for our tablescape, we are using at least some of the crafts we have just finished sharing with you that we made for the 12 DIY’s of Christmas!

In case you missed any of those….

#1

The first one I shared was my winter village knockoff using little plastic buildings I found at Dollar Tree!

#2

The second DIY was these darling little gold nutcrackers!

#3

For my third DIY I shared how to quickly and easily create vintage style seasonal art.

#4

DIY #4 was my super easy crocheted garland that I made for my tree.

#5

My fifth DIY were these cute little burlap and ribbon candy canes. So simple and I just love how they turned out!

#6

For the sixth DIY I made these little wooden gingerbread trees.

#7

These sheet music stars I made for DIY #7 were a lot of fun!

#8

I’ve been wanting to make some feather trees for a long time now and finally, for #8 I did just that!

#9

I just know I am going to get a LOT of use out of the little lanterns that were DIY #9.

#10

I don’t know why I didn’t think of this long before now but I’m in love with these $5 Christmas pillows made from fabric gift bags! The perfect thing for DIY #10.

#11

Sometimes mistakes make the cutest things! My mistake buying these little paper mache stars turned into twine star ornaments for DIY #11.

#12

Last but not least #12 were these cute little beaded icicle ornaments that I made specifically to decorate my living room chandelier for winter.

The Christmas Tablescape

Now that you’ve seen all 12 DIY’s together, any idea as to what I might use out of those in my Christmas tablescape? Hmmmm…..Can’t wait to show you!

I ended up using the feather trees, the nutcrackers, the lanterns, and the twine stars.

For the place settings I simply layered gold chargers with some of my ironstone collection. Winter printed napkins and some festive ribbon finished the look.

Running down the middle of the table I placed the feather trees and little lanterns and wound some juniper and frosty berries between them. For some extra bling and sparkle I used a string of pearl fairy lights (battery operated) and tucked my little gold stars in here and there.

My jaunty little gold nutcrackers are keeping the glassware company….

Repeating colors like the gold and the red helps to make it feel cohesive and put together.

As you probably already noticed, all these items are very versatile and can be used in so many places and in so many ways…

I just love pieces like that…..

Thanks for stopping by and Merry Christmas!

Until next time,
