It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Hey friends!  So glad you stopped by today.  From now until Christmas, two of my very best blogging friends and I are going to be showing you all sorts of wonderful Christmas DIY’s and tours of various rooms in our homes, all decked out for Christmas.  As always, we will be keeping a strict budget.  The links to their DIY’s for today will be at the end of this post.

Okay!  We are starting in the front entry of our homes because, well, where else would you start if you dropped by?

Just for fun, I’m gonna show you what it looked like about 1 week ago.  BEFORE the 3 of us decided to start in the front entry instead of outside our front doors.  Are you ready?  Are you sure?

I snapped this pic on my iPad, with no concern about lighting and it hasn’t been edited in ANY way.  I know that comes as a surprise to you since it’s so lovely!  This was taken to prove a point to the other ladies as to why I couldn’t do my entry as the start to my Christmas Home Tour.

It didn’t work.

You’re good at DIYs, they said.

You can do it, they said.

I think they should have put their glasses on!

Maybe I COULD do something with this door.  I mean I painted it last year but maybe I could clean it.

Look what I found when I cleaned my door!!!  Who knew?

Okay seriously!  I might have had a little help from Walmart.

In the form of these.  For $2.98

For that price can you really go wrong?  These would look great on kitchen cabinet doors too for a little touch of winter.

As for the rest of my entry you are gonna have to keep checking back if you want to see whether or not I was able to do something with it.  I mean, it was pretty great before so why would I want to change much, right?

I will leave you with a little teaser.  This may or may not currently reside in my front entry. You’ll have to wait and see….

Now warm up that cup of coffee (or pour a new one) and head on over to the other blogs!  You can go visit Emily of Le Cultivateur and Terrie of Decorate And More With Tip.

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way….
