French Vintage Friday: Vintage Medicine Bottles

So glad you could stop by this week! Emily and I can’t wait to share another vintage treasure, french treasure or french vintage treasure! You never know what it’s going to be from week to week.

WE don’t even know what it’s going to be from week to week!

If you’ve been with me for a while you might have already seen a couple old bottles I had. Originally I displayed them in my Powder Room but the whole idea when I started collecting them was to put them in the Kids Bathroom once I had it finished. Well I’m almost there so guess what moved up a floor to the kids bathroom this week?

Yup!

This week I went to a couple antique shops for the first time since at least February (here it is August now). It’s been so long that it almost felt a bit strange but I quickly remembered what to do! lol

Most of the bottles I had previously had no labels but I found a few this week that I’m absolutely obsessed with! Like this glycerin bottle….

Or this Southern Rose hair product bottle. I’m assuming it was some type of hair oil. It was fitting for a bathroom and oh so cute!

My favorite one though is this tiny little chloroform bottle! I mean it’s in such great condition and ever so cute! I just couldn’t leave the shop without it.

I can’t read what was once written on this label so I don’t know what was in it but it is from a drug store so likely some form of something medicinal.

Now that I’ve started this collection I can’t stop. I do that with things.

But really. When you see how cute they are, can you blame me? And they are the absolute PERFECT thing to display in the kids new vintage inspired bathroom!

That’s absolutely perfect for you then. I just adore the medicine bottles in particular, although vintage bottles in general are a weakness of mine…
