French Vintage Friday: White Pitchers

Yay! It’s Friday! That means that I get to join Emily to share another vintage treasure.

There’s something about white dishes that I just love. They’re so traditional, so easy to mix and match, they go with any tablescape you can come up with and always add a touch of elegance.

I don’t know the exact age of this pitcher and it doesn’t have any legible stamp on it to tell me more about its history but it does have some very fine crazing and blends in perfectly with my ironstone.

Most of the time I have it displayed somewhere with flowers in it but occasionally I just leave it to speak for itself.

Thats what I like to do when I can’t necessarily always find every piece I want in genuine proven vintage – mix and match pieces that blend in with the true vintage seamlessly.
