French Vintage Friday: Vintage Sheet Music

Sometimes you just need a little help from a friend. I was struggling with my post this morning and while chatting with Emily over some things I was working on, I happened to send her a pic. She instantly spied my vintage sheet music garland on my mantel and suggested I share that instead. It hadnโ€™t even crossed my mind. Iโ€™m not sure why.

Welcome to French Vintage Friday!

Yโ€™all know I have a thing for old books but maybe you didnโ€™t know that includes old music. It does.

Sometimes I just like looking through the old music or sometimes I like playing the old music or sometimes I like making things with the old music.

Like when I was styling my mantel this year and something was missing and I decided it needed a garland. Music. That would work perfectly!

So I used pieces of vintage sheet music strung on old lace for my garland and hung that on my mantel and itโ€™s just what I was missing!

It pairs perfectly with the vintage books and other vintage pieces that have found their way onto my mantel this year too.

Here is how the whole garland looks on my mantel. See why I love vintage sheet music?

๐ŸŽถ Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful ๐ŸŽถ

See you next week!
