Creative Thursday: Classic White & Gold Framed Ornaments

Want a super easy but gorgeous little winter/Christmas project you can do?

Y’all might remember a while back when I refinished some small round frames I had found on clearance. At the time I put some floral pics inside them from cards. That was all fine and good for the time but recently I’d been looking at them and feeling the need for change.

I’m actually kind of impressed with myself for how long I kept them the same without changing them up. That’s not a common occurrence for me. Especially when it’s so easy to change their look with the simple insertion of some new content into the frame.

Clearly we’ve established that it was high time and although I realized this, it was never clearer than when I started adding white and gold Christmas decor around them and they started looking more and more out of place in their pink floral loveliness 😄

Grab your little screwdriver and let’s tackle this!

Or you could grab a fresh coffee and watch ME tackle this. Whatever 😄

I simply removed the tiny screws holding the backing board in place….

…used the mirror to trace a piece of old sheet music.

Cute, right?

After that I simply added some wooden cut work ornaments that I spray painted gold.

I embellished them with some little pearls.

All that’s left is to hang them up.

Right back in the spot where they were before!
I know! That’s also not something I do very often. I’m always putting everything in new places.

Now they fit in just perfectly rather than standing out and looking awkward and it literally took me maybe 20 minutes total.

Let’s go see what the others crafted this month!
