So y’all know I have this thing for little bottlebrush trees and evergreen trees in my winter decor, right?
I’ve confessed to a possible addiction in my recent post divulging my plans for this years seasonal look.
I don’t like how they typically come with just a slice of wood as a base or wrapped in burlap, however. That’s just not my style.
That said, I’m always on the lookout for cute things to use as a base or container for my trees.
On a recent sprint into Marshall’s I spied something on a Clearance shelf that fit this description perfectly and since it was on clearance it would also work for this months challenge so that’s a win in my books.
Perhaps it looks full sized in this photo but trust me – it isn’t! It’s tiny and adorable!
I placed it on a cake stand and added some plastic snow.
Next I removed the burlap wrapping the base of this darling little tree and removed it from it’s wood block base by unscrewing it in a counter-clockwise direction. That’s how you can remove pretty much all of the trees from whatever base they are in.
See what a difference a sweet little container makes?
This is one of a few simple little things I’ve added to my kitchen this season and it only cost me $4.00 since I already had everything else.
Happy clearance hunting!
Love the little cup and saucer! Such a perfect place for that darling little tree! Love it!
