Christmas Home Tour 2019: Deck The Halls

I can’t believe it’s already this time again – can you? It seems like only a few months ago that we were touring my home for Christmas and here it’s been an entire year.

It’s been good for me to look back at last years tour because that’s when I see that I actually have accomplished a few things on this house 😄

Welcome to the candlelight tour of my home all decorated for winter. It’s never easy to capture the true feeling that all the glowing lights give but I’ve tried to show you just a little of what it’s like.

I’ve enjoyed adding greenery, jingle bells and beads to my chandelier this season. It adds such a festive touch. I’ll definitely be doing that again!

Cozying up by the fire with just the lights from the tree each evening is perfection to me. I may go a little overboard when it comes to stringing the lights on my tree but there is nothing better than seeing it glow like this!

Before long the tree will have so many presents under it, it will be hard to get near enough to turn the lights on 😊

This tree won’t be featured in any magazines for its stellar styling or amazing rare ornaments but it’s special to us. Every ornament on it has special meaning to us either because it’s been handmade by myself and the children or because it’s been selected to represent a special memory or gifted from a special person.

My mantel is all about trees this year. From mercury glass to faux evergreens to bottle brush. Each one is cuter than the one before, in my eyes.

What could possibly work better as risers than some beautiful vintage books?

A sneak peek into the Powder Room.

Every room deserves a little seasonal decor…

One of the first things the kids want to bring out each year is this nativity set.

I know I’ve been teasing y’all for quite some time with hints and little peeks at some of the big changes I’ve made to my kitchen recently but are y’all ready to see it in detail now?

There’s lots more to do but so much has already changed with the cabinets being refinished once again, the addition of vintage hardware and the floors finally being done.

And now, from my home to yours, wishing you a wonderful and cozy winter season.

Because I am who I am, I am sure to be continuing to make decor additions to my home throughout this season. I’ll be sure to show you though…..

And now, as a special treat, I have a few friends beautiful homes to show you, all styled for Christmas. Simply click the photos to start any tour.
