Happy Sunday, sweet friend.
Yes, you.
I’m so glad you’re here today.
Did you know that I have a bit of an obsession with blush pink?
It’s true!
I add it around my home in little bits for pretty much every season but for the past couple years I’ve been trying to get more and more blush pink for my primary fall color.
You think I’m crazy? That blush is NOT a fall color? Let me show you….
This stunning wreath with its blush pink and almost salmon colored pumpkins and florals is absolutely stunning! I am completely in love with it and will be making one for my front door if I can find more of the materials that I need in the right colors!
Check out this daring and unusual color combination for fall – blush and copper! Yes please! I love both colors all the time anyways so why not put them together?
I’ve never really thought of myself and someone who likes much of a glam style but this just grabbed my eye and captured my heart. The fall leaves with the pale pink roses on those pillar candle holders? Wow!
I think this is the main goal no matter what colors you use for your fall decor. It isn’t about a specific color or item. It’s about the overall feeling. I think the main thing that comes to mind when we think of fall and winter is that we want everything to feel cozy. This article has some great tips to incorporate the cozy and welcoming feeling in your home.
I think it’s time we talked about pink again……I’ve never collected colored glass hardly at all. I literally only have enough amber wine glasses and some light green glass goblets for a table setting for 4. All the rest that I own are clear glass.
But then?
I read this post by Leslie from My 100 Year Old Home and she was talking about her long standing obsession with cranberry glass.. All I can say is go look at all her lovely photos of her collection and I think you will be joining me on the hunt for cranberry glass!
If you didn’t have a chance to catch all my blog posts this past week, here is what I posted about.
Every Tuesday night I post the Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop and all kinds of lovely bloggers link up their blog posts for the next several days. You might think that you have to be a blogger to get anything out of this post but you would be wrong!
You see, it’s almost like a catalog. As the blog posts get linked up you can scroll through and click on anything that catches your eye. You get to see all sorts of amazing things that you might ordinarily miss. Recipes, crafts, decor, DIYs just to name a few. You should really check it out sometime.
I also shared how I styled my new open shelves in my coffee nook for fall. I’m having so much fun with them already and I think I just might have to start on Aurora (my hutch) later today!
Friday morning I shared how I made this fall sign while watching a movie with my daughter…..I used some leftover old wood from a recent DIY project and a permanent marker. So quick and so easy and so much fun that I think I will be needing to make a few more….
Just before you go, let’s take a peek at what Emily found around the web this week! Just click on the photo below….
